Hello!! My name is, Demi Truebenbach, and I own Colorful Creations. A hands on art studio located in historic downtown Aberdeen! I grew up just outside of Aberdeen, going to a small town high school. While going to school I noticed a lack of creative outlets for students. Unfortunately, that is the case for a lot of schools, and that is why I am so passionate about Colorful Creations. To me, Colorful Creations is a place to let go of all the stress and worries of everyday life and just create. After graduating high school, I went on to college at North Dakota State University, and there is where I discovered my love for the arts. Once, when visiting home I joined my sister on her birthday to paint at Colorful. It was then that I fell in love with the studio and everything it had to offer the community. Just a few weeks later, I asked my mom to come to the studio with me to paint a mug. It was then that I got a job working at the studio. Fast forward three years, I was asked by Carly, the founder of Colorful, if I would like to take over the studio. It was the easiest and best decision I made. Art is something that has improved my life for the better and opened me up to so many great opportunities.

My Goal for the studio is to be a safe haven for all those who come in and want to create. Come create something you can cherish forever.
